100418: One may take pride in learning, open thinking and being abreast of the latest trends; but that is not good enough. Empowering yourself is definitely a start, but if you seem to be hitting a wall constantly, chances are, you are the frog in the well. It is not to say that all organizations are great and it is only an individual's responsibility to be disruptive thinker. Just as a seed needs good nourishment to take root and not just sunshine and air, a good foundation for a strong career needs the right company - work place, work culture and team. Does this relate to you?
